Book Description
Surrounded by spectacular, snow-clad mountains, some of the world's finest ski resorts, and arguably the finest powder snow in the world, Salt Lake City was an obvious choice for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. In a stunning collection of breathtaking photographs and informative text, Gerald and Marc Hoberman have captured the spirit and charm of one of the West's most friendly cities. With photographs ranging from the historic Temple Square, world headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to the imposing peaks of the Wasatch Mountains, "Salt Lake City" is a superb introduction to, and a memento of, Utah's capital.
