About the Author
Roger Storm and Susan Wedzel have been hiking partners since 1982. Together they have trekked the Canadian Rockies, hut hopped in the Alps, and hiked Isle Royale in Michigan. This is the second book they have written together.

Roger is a consultant and a former state director for the Michigan Chapter of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. He was also the Michigan coordinator for the first National Trails Day. A resident of Chelsea, Roger enjoys hiking, biking, and reading.

A technical writer since 1986, Susan operates her own business-Wedzel and Associates-which specializes in real-estate appraising and consulting. She lives in Chelsea, where she enjoys hiking, reading, and gardening.
