About the Author
For this update, Paul Karr pulled on rain gear and walking shoes, bolted down hightest espresso, and chowed down on market fare from Ballard to Bremerton—coming away as determined as ever that Portland and Seattle are two of the great American cities. When not covering the wonders of the Pacific Northwest, Karr writes and relaxes in New York City, New England, Canada, and Europe working on other guidebooks. He is the author of the Irreverent Guide to Vancouver and Frommer’s Nova Scotia, New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island, among many other titles.
