About the Author
Meredith Bain Woodward was born, raised and currently lives in Vancouver. She has lived in Europe, the US, and in the West Kootenay region of BC. A former travel counselor for the BC Automobile Association, she has travelled extensively throughout the province. A professional actress, she holds a BA and an MFA from UBC, is a past editor of Kootenay Business Journal, has received a National Magazine award, has written animation for children's television, and is the author of Land of Dreams (Altitude). Ron Woodward has been a photographer, designer, print-production manager, and publisher for 30 years. He taught photography, graphic design, and electronic publishing for nine years at Selkirk College in Castlegar and currently teaches at Simon Fraser University. Born in Brazil and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he has been a Canadian citizen since 1974.
