About the Author
John Cissik, MS, CSCS*D is the director of wellness services at Texas Woman's University and is the owner of Fitness and Conditioning Enterprises, which specializes in providing speed and agility instruction to young athletes. John holds a master's degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M University, and several certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer with Distinction.
Michael Barnes, MEd, CSCS*D is the director of education for the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has been a strength and conditioning practitioner and educator in the field for over 15 years. He holds a master's degree in health and human performance from Auburn University, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
