About the Author
Grandmaster Woo Jin Jung is a lifelong Taekwondo artist who has attained 8th Dan black belt status. Master Jung cofounded-with Chuck Norris-the Martial Arts Federation for World Peace. Throughout a teaching career that spans 35 years, he has trained thousands of martial artists, including many premier practitioners and instructors. Master Jung's Taekwondo headquarters is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and branch schools are located throughout the Midwest. He is vice president of Tri-Mount Publications, publishers of Tae Kwon Do Times. Master Jung lives in Cedar Rapids.

Jennifer Lawler, a freelance writer and black belt martial artist, earned her PhD in English from the University of Kansas. She has played a pivotal role in the development, organization, and explanation of Master Jung's profound insight. An accomplished author, she has written 14 books, including The Martial Arts Encyclopedia; Martial Arts for Women: A Practical Guide; Weight Training for Martial Artists; and The Secrets of Tae Kwon Do. She has trained for seven years in Taekwondo and holds a 2nd degree black belt. Lawler lives in Lawrence, Kansas.
