About the Author
Dr. Rob Ammon, Jr., is the Sport Management Program Coordinator for the PE and Sport Management Dept. at Slippery Rock University. In 2002, Dr. Ammon was elected the 17th President of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM).
In 2003, Dr. Richard Southall was elected President of the Sport and Recreation Law Association. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in sport facility and event management, sport law, social and economic influences in sport, sport ethics, sport promotion and marketing, and organizational theory at the State University of West Georgia.
