About the Author
Thomas Ames Jr. is a commercial photographer who fled the glamour of the big city more than 20 years ago to embrace the seasonal extremes of life in rural New England. He shares a home with his wife, three teenage children and a variable parade of domestic animals in Norwich, Vermont.
