About the Author
Pam Headrige is currently in her fourteenth year as the head cheerleading coach oat Oak Harbor High School in Oak Harbor, WA. She has been honored as National Cheerleading Coach of the Year, National Federation Interscholastic Spirit Association Section Eight Coach of the Year, and Washington State Cheerleading Coach of the Year. She writes articles for many national magazines, including The Coach and Sporting Kids. Pam I on the American Cheerleading Magazine Coaches Council and is often called upon for her expertise.
Nancy Garr is in her sixth year as a cheer coach of Ferndale High School in Ferndale, WA. She is secretary of the Washington State Cheer Coaches Association and also serves as Region One Representative. She is also a spirit rules clinician for the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association.
