About the Author
Stan Zweifel has been at UW-W since 1990. During his playing days, Zweifel was a wide receiver for UW-River Falls, being the team's leading receiver for two years, and leading the team in scoring in 1973. Stan's coaching background began in high school at Markesan, WI and New Ulm, MN, followed with a stint as the offensive coordinator at Northern Colorado University and as head coach at both Yankton College, SD and Minnesota-Morris before coming to UW-Whitewater.
Stan is known around the country as one of the finest offensive line coaches and for teaching the zone concept. Many high school and college coaches consult with him to find out the proper teaching progressions needed to run that type of offense most effectively.
Stan has authored and co-authored several football books, and has also produced three video series on offensive line play. His Whitewater offenses have been nationally ranked the past 5 years. He and his wife Diane have four children, Saree, Shannon, Mark, and Mike.
