About the Author
A quarter-century member of the PGA, Rudy Duran is an instructor, golf course architect, businessman, and a tireless advocate of junior golf. He runs one of the largest youth programs in the country. He has won numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including the PGA Tour's Card Walker Award and the California Golf Writer's Golden State Award. Duran has been involved in the First Tee program, and is a founding board member for a proposed First Tee golf course in Central California.
Rick Lipsey is a golf writer for Sports Illustrated. He lives in New York City.
