About the Author
Tamsin Constable grew up in Cameroon and Mali, West Africa. She studied zoology, psychology, and then journalism in England before joining BBC Wildlife magazine as a writer and editor. Leaving the magazine in 1997, she established her career in freelance journalism, specializing in wildlife and environmental issues. She travels extensively, particularly in Africa, and has worked with rescued chimpanzees in Zambia. She has published articles in the national press in the UK, including The Guardian, and BBC Wildlife magazine. She also writes commentaries for natural history documentaries produced by the BBC Natural History Unit, The Discovery Channel, and independent companies.
